Yellowstone Regional Airport Celebrates 10 years of Excellent Air Service

The Yellowstone Regional Airport is excited to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of SkyWest Airlines. SkyWest Airlines has provided Delta Connection service between Cody and Salt Lake City, Utah for 10 years. As we as a community continue to grow and develop we should take the time to celebrate these great milestones. To commemorate this achievement the Joint Powers Board would like to invite the entire community to join us at the Airport in the Spirit Mountain Aviation Hangar from 5:30pm – 7:00pm for light refreshments, where we will celebrate this important endeavor. While the intent is to celebrate SkyWest’s anniversary, this is also a great opportunity to become more familiar with your local airport and see all the businesses and people that are involved in making your airport what it is. To add to this exciting event we will have several aircraft and airport equipment on display for the community to explore. Steve Hart, Vice President of Market Development and Alison Gemmell, Marketing Director from SkyWest Airlines, as well as employees from the local Cody station will be on hand to participate in the celebration.

SkyWest Operates 3 daily roundtrip flights to Slat Lake City as a Delta Connection and provides 1 round trip flight to Denver as a United Express carrier. SkyWest and its dedicated employees began Cody service in June of 1995, operating as Delta Connection with 2 flights a day. While Park County has grown far beyond the small town it once was, SkyWest maintains its personable down-home disposition that has become synonymous with SkyWest’s customer service, the reason for the loyalty of the citizens in Park County.
